Wilmington Water Works

One more picture in this week’s “gritty city” theme.  This is a picture of the pumping station looking south from the Market Street Bridge.  Originally built in 1826, the pumping station still takes water from the Brandywine Mill Race for distribution to homes in Wilmington.
