Lady Azalea Bug

The other day I accidentally captured a bee.  Yesterday, I went looking for bugs, armed with my D300 and trusty 55mm micro lens.  I caught this lady bug near an azalea bloom that was about ready to open.

By the way, the restaurant yesterday was Pomodoro on 8th and Union in Little Italy.  I thought the food was above average (it’s upscale Italian for those who haven’t been there), but nothing like what Luigi Vitrone used to serve up at Pastabilities!  I hope Luigi’s feeling better and ready to open up again soon.
