Global Warming


Have I mentioned lately how much I dislike winter? As a kid it was nice to have the occasional snow-day off from school.  But even a snow-day off from work doesn’t balance out the misery of the cold and the drudgery of shoveling out. I read an article suggesting that climate change is partially responsible for the excessive snowfall over the past couple of years. Theory says that that increases in arctic temperatures have messed with the path of the jet stream, allowing colder air to come further south than it used to. We now have to vacation in Mexico to avoid the chill…

By the way, the picture is the top of a holly that tipped completely over with the weight of the snow.
