Loading Docks

A walk through Alapocas Run State Park takes you along the old Bancroft textile mill.  The mill was opened in 1831 and closed in 1961. Here you see a multi-level receiving area with loading docks on three floors.  The cranes and pulleys are gone, but you can see where the second floor mechanism used to be.  The first floor was obviously updated with the corrugated steel door, but the two upper floors look ancient.  Here are a few more pictures from the walk.
